Carrina Bradbury is a Social Worker, Therapist, Educator and Consultant; with a passion for human experiences. From perinatal mental health and wellbeing, to parenting, child and adolescent mental health, to marital and relationship support; Carrina aims to support choice, chance, and change throughout the whole lifetime.
Carrina lives her life in connection with others and is passionate about this in her work as well. She is an active community member who supports countless community organisations, events and celebrations; and is well renowned for her generosity in the community.
As an Accredited Mental Health Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Childbirth Educator / Doula; Carrina enjoys working across the lifespan to achieve the best possible outcomes for those she works with. Her Social Work background, coupled with a post-graduate Certificate in Systemic Family Therapy, see’s Carrina specialize in interpersonal and relational counselling suitable for individual, couples and families seeking support with mental health, communication and relationship matters.
Carrina’s professional experience has included child protection, drug and alcohol education, parenting services (including children with disabilities), marital and family relationships, and mental health across lifespan. Carrina has also extensive experience in program design, management, and evaluation and organisational development and management.
Carrina’s connections with family and friends is central to her life and crucial to the balance that she so often seeks. Carrina is the very proud and active mother of three delightful children, who are her greatest achievements and provide her life’s biggest learnings.
Carrina is also a passionate Australian, who loves the land, the sea and the diversity of the country she is proud to call home. Carrina grew up on a farm in the South West of Western Australia, as the middle child to great parents. While she recalls her parents managing farming and business roles, Carrina also notes the balance that was always found by her parents in raising herself and her siblings in a loving and involved way.
Finding one’s own balance is a key to Carrina’s work with others, as well as for herself personally, as a working mum of three beautiful children. Carrina’s professional and personal knowledge and experiences shape her work with individuals, couples, families and communities to bring about positive change that derived from the real life experiences, needs and desires of those she connects with.
